Only problem is it's a little narrow and the chest given that the picture indicates an outer measurement. When one considers the fur on the inside of the coat, a person would actually have less than the indicated measurement... and that would be without a sweater underneath or a thick shirt. Of course I share this in reference to my own sizing idiosyncrasies

@starraether I put in another picture of me wearing a thick turtleneck underneath. I am a size medium for shirts and it first perfectly. Super soft and warm, hope this helps.
