This one is thee one. Handmade by me! Copper with etched designs, red jasper, rose quartz and turquoise beads. Sparkly aqua blue glass beads to finish it off. A small band of gold/ clear faceted beads wrap around the red jasper. I love all of these colors together, and the perfect combination of whimsical and magical. Chain portion is 18" around. Rose and pendant portion hang 3.75 inches & are about 3/4" wide at widest part. Any questions let me know!

vtgcovergirl Stunning! Did you make the clasp by hand? I need one like that to finish off an older vintage necklace that was dismantled by the previous owner. I wouldn’t have a clue how to do them!

vtgcovergirl @artisticwhit That would be fantastic... I will have to figure out kind of what size it needs. I know for sure that the metal should be just a base type silver tone. I can’t for the life of me remember what the finished pieces are called, but they’re super old. I’ll try to tag you on the pendant. It’s NFS, but might trigger your memory...

artisticwhit @vtgcovergirl Yeah...that is pretty much how I roll too. The kids and I are home all the time aside from a couple friends we see. Thankfully we are able to get away to the lake on our weekends or I would go insane. Our schools were leaning toward a hybrid type schedule, but then all of a sudden voted to do 5 days a week....which completely freaks me out. Don't think it's going to happen though.

artisticwhit @vtgcovergirl With the way things are going...cases on the rise...no real plan in place...I just can't see starting back in less than a month and going back to "normal". It doesn't make sense.

vtgcovergirl @artisticwhit I’m thinking this is the new “normal”... 🥺 In NC the governor still hasn’t made the decision about our schools, but it’s looking like the choices are similar to yours. My daughter and her husband are probably going to keep their two boys at home though. The school system as a whole is already overcrowded, so social distancing is not a true option IMO... They both did REALLY well last year anyway in the current situation.

artisticwhit @vtgcovergirl That is so great that they did so well....it was hard. We all got thrown into that situation with no preparation and everything kept changing...very frustrating! Students were checking out, which I totally get. I had some really great students who had a lot of trouble with depression and anxiety. They struggled a lot. In an otherwise normal school setting they did great. I struggled too...trying to teach my kids while also teaching my students was insane.

artisticwhit @vtgcovergirl My hope is that we start the year distance learning with some real guidelines on what to do and how to do it...and how to hold students accountable. And as much as I agree that students should be in school because it is the best thing for them...I am not comfortable being back at school right now with the current climate/situation and I am definitely not comfortable sending my own children back to school! Everything is so crazy🥺😩
