hello! I just double checked and once I reeaallly scrutinized it up close, I realized there are two barely noticeable little string places on the collar that you have to fold open the collar to see. Those must have been attached at some point so the collar was closed one inch higher on the neckline. I never realized it while I wore it myself because it's so subtle. I'm updating the photos now. But if I weren't playing obsessive detective, I would consider this shirt in top shape. :)

Update: the collar was not ever closed any higher, this seems like it was just one stitch that used to assure the fabric folded correctly once the neckline ends. But it does without the stitch!
