To use as a heat pack warm up in the microwave for 30-60 second intervals until desired warmth is reached. For use as a cold pack, simply place pack in gallon sized plastic bag and leave in freezer. Multiple sizes available. This one is for 5x22 inch pack which weighs approximately 2 lbs 13 oz. Other sizes available are 5x18, 5x12 and a 5x5 perfect size ouch pouch for kids.
