At the suggestion of a fellow (seasoned) Posher, I take photos of all my items immediately prior to shipment and record myself packaging the item. My goal is for both of us to be 100% happy with the purchasing experience and I think this will give all parties involved piece of mind. Thanks for stopping by my closet! ๐

I never would have thought to do this. I also guess I take for granted that folks wouldn't be "shifty". Thanks for this advice! ๐

@prissypmc I never would have thought so either and I've had great purchasers so far, but another Posher told me some horror stories. I'm sure it's rare, but I figured it's better to be safe than sorry for all parties involved. Hopefully we never need this, though. :)

@jgmr hi!! I just saw this and it's worded much more politely than my sign that basically says the same thing. Do you mind if I borrow your language? Btw I'm presently dealing with my first posh scammer- 69 sales with no issues and now my first scammer. Ugh.

@deborahmaynard Hi there! Of course you're welcome to use the language. I'm so sorry to hear you're dealing w/a scammer. I've been very lucky w/my customers, but was warned by a few others who hadn't been as fortunate. It's really too bad; the stories made me hesitant to even start selling here, but I think the bad purchasers are few and far between. I wish you lots of luck w/your current situation & hope it's resolved quickly in your favor!

@jgmr thank you so much! Yes, it's very disheartening and the waiting is difficult. It makes me feel sick inside that people do this. I did team up with a few very active users and via email we compile lists of "scammers" to block. I wish posh would do this but oh well. Pending the outcome I will involve the police and press charges bc mail fraud is federal! I think it's important that the respectful Poshers stick together! ๐

@deborahmaynard Wow - so they're claiming they never received the package? (If that's too prying, please don't feel like you have to answer it.) I was always worried that someone would receive an item, decide they don't want it, and then scratch/damage, so they could return it. I never thought of them denying they received the package all together. Thanks for sharing your story. Again, I'm so sorry to hear it. I do think we need to stick together!
