We currently are fostering him. He is 1 year old and he chews on everything!! He isn't for sale guys!!! I love him so much but his chewing has gotten out of hand. So this next week everything that I sell will be donated for buying chew toys for him. Wish me luck, xoxox :)

@ilovepugs I think Molly has the same toy! Is that a turtle?

@khkdomer yes it actually is a turtle! Did you get yours at petsmart?

I got mine on amazon - it's so easy and no tax or shipping. 👏😊 Molly loves this toy and pulls all the balls out and starts running around with a couple of them in her mouth. 😝

Oh he's a beautiful black lab, right? These are one of the best breeds ever! I have a one and half and he learned not to chew by a couple ways: he knows what his toys are, and never chews in anything of ours. One time last summer I caught him chewing on my rollerblades (my husband says it's because he wanted to rollerblade more) but we had just gotten back. I sternly told him "NO" like 25 times. And he could see my anger, he never has chewed anything after. I never hit my dog, but it's okay to get on their face and say no. They will get it. It's funny, ya know you've prob heard the old wives take (I call it) that "if you don't catch them in the act, you can't acid them after because they won't remember" BS!!! That's not the case, do earlier this summer I just pulled down off the shelf the rollerblades and immediately as soon as he saw them (me saying acting/nothing now) , he had his tail between his legs and he knew! He remembered from last summer! I say "icky" when he tries to get anything he shouldn't. In puppy training class, they put something on ground and he looks at it, want it, then they taught us to stand in between him and the item, stand firmly and cross your arms like you're mad, and turn around not facing him.. He wants your attention SOOO bad- he will learn what's not for him. But this breed needs to chew, and if left alone with their toys will chew them up. So look for tough ones. He's only a year you say but looks a bit younger to me. Anyhow, enough training lessons.. These guys are great and you're so lucky to foster him. I would adopt if you have the time and space and energy to play, my guy and I play all day long!

Oh ad duh main reason I was writing to you was to tell you try "bitter apple" spray in stuff writes good too. But these labs have SOOO much energy they will want to play 24/7 for at least five years- then they chill a bit.. They need constant exercise or they will chew stuff for attention👍
