I'm normally a size US 9 in Nikes, 8.5 in Converse Chuck Taylors, and 8.5 in dress shoes and these fit me well with thin dress socks or no socks. It will feel tight if wear thick winter socks. So I basically sized down 1 based on my dress shoes size and they fit me well. I kept them in good shape in between wears by putting a wooden shoe tree inside. They do NOT come with purchase.
