piper103 Hi. Might I trouble you for a measurement of the length with a tape measure on the bottom of one of the boots from the heel to the toe and post a picture? I'm trying to get an idea of the size/fit.

thistles_ Hi @piper103. Sorry for the late reply. I posted a few pictures for you. The sole is wider than the area your foot will fit into, so I added a side measurement as well. They fit like a men's size 10.

piper103 Hi. No worries. Thank you for posting those. Those are great pictures. They show exactly what I needed.

piper103 Hi. Another question if I may. The ad says indigo leather. But the color in the pictures appears to be black. Can you confirm the color, is it black or indigo?

thistles_ @piper103 No worries at all. The boots have darkened due to natural oxidation since I first purchased them about 4 years ago. I wore them less than 5 times since I bought them and kept them in my closet. I posted a picture of what the leather looked like when they were brand new (not my boots, but from a Reddit post). The color could be easily remedied with some indigo shoe polish, or perhaps even black polish if you wished them to be darker.

piper103 Hi. Since my last counteroffer from a few days ago expired without a response I was guessing you might not have seen it. In any case, after some thought, I'm good with your last counteroffer if you are. So I submitted an offer for that amount.

thistles_ @piper103 thank you for your offer. I debated your previous offer but decided $200 was the amount I was comfortable with. I'm glad the boots will find a new home. Just out of curiosity, what is your plan for them?

piper103 @thistles_ I'll have to see how they look once I get them in my hands. But if they look like the pictures I'll probably leave them just as they are. They are just for everyday use. When they have that kind of surface wear they look cool and you don't have to worry about them. I like that they are more black than indigo. The only thing I could see is some black shoe cream at some point. But They are cool either way. What made you decide to get rid of them?

thistles_ @piper103 nice, I'm glad they'll get a second life. I just found them hard to match with outfits when they were brighter blue. they sat in the closet too long and I felt someone else could actually use them. I shipped them out today. hope you enjoy. they will last for years.
