From my mothers childhood, these dolls were popular in the 1930’s. Only 3 inches tall, they are marked Made in Japan and have the numbers 1145 on the back. Cute collectible item. Only one arm is slightly affected by the knot that holds it together. Make an offer!!

bevscrafts2013 I added a photo....... yes they do, but I would be very careful where you put them because if they fall, they could break easily, I think...... not just cause they're really really old!, but they seem fragile to me. But yes, they do stand up alone..... Bev

bevscrafts2013 The arms look worse in the photo than they really are...... they can be pushed into the socket better than I did :)

caroline_mroz @bevscrafts2013 thank you so much! I love them, I want them for my doll house, they are a good size, I probably would stand them up only for pictures! If you go to my closet at the very bottom you will see 3 posts of a doll house reno I did! So fun!! Thanks for your time! I’m still thinking on it!!!💕

bevscrafts2013 Oh my gosh Caroline!! Very very nice work.......you must have great patience to do this kind of work. The doll house is just spectacular! You might like to know that my mother and her family all came from Germany as well, and i had seen the Made in Japan on the back of these dolls and figured they were purchased in America. After doing a tad bit of research online, i learned that they could easily have come from Germany with my mother even tho they were made in Japan.

bevscrafts2013 @caroline_mroz Hi Caroline! We are about to move into the new house and I do not need to take these dolls with me........ let's make a deal and get them to you. For me to make $1 each on them I can make an offer to you of $8 and a discount shipping (I think it was $4.99). Shall I make an offer to you? Bev
