@tarcella I can also make the slits different, I overlap the fabric at the base of the waistband so I could just overlap them a little more so the opening doesn’t go up quite as high. That would probably be the best way, unless you have another preference? @velvetfringe I’m hoping you are recovered! I’m 5’10”, do you think 44in would be long enough? I also like the idea of the little more overlap as long as it doesn’t take away from the style. It’s not a major issue, I’m just not as young as I used to be. Ha!

@tarcella hi love! 👋 Sorry for the delayed response, I’ve been playing a bit of catch up! 44” could be long enough if you’re 5’10” depending on where you want the hem to hit. The best way to be sure is to measure from smallest part of waist (about where bellybutton is or where you want top of waistband to hit) and drop the tape down the front of you to your feet while wearing the shoes you plan to wear the skirt with, especially if planning to wear heels.

@tarcella The skirt length is adjustable by folding the waistband down too and you can also cut down the length yourself if needed. ☺️

@tarcella as far as the overlap at top thigh, it doesn’t really open up unless you’re walking, it overlaps about 2” currently but I can make it overlap another 1”-2” more or whatever you prefer. @velvetfringe okay velvet, I want one of these!!! I would love you to overlap as much as you can without it changing the look of the skirt. Also, I’m just over 5’10” and waist down is 44 inches on me. You said that’s the standard length for my size. I’m tall. Are you sure that will be long enough?

@tarcella hiya!! Awesome! If the length you got is 44” then that is what you should go with! I can add an inch if you’d feel better about that, especially to add some length for shoes if needed.
