Tie Dyed Blue & Green 100% Silk Camp Shirt

When I bought this shirt it was a light cream color and looked like it had seldom, if ever, been worn before. It was very bland and cried out for a makeover. So I gave it a different perspective with some colorfast Procion dye. I like this blue and green combination. If I don't sell this one I'll add it to my personal wardrobe. I'm breaking all sorts of basic rules and colorful dyes trying for an illusion of depth in the fabrics. When I'm done I wash everything once in Synthrapol and twice in scent free detergents formulated for sensitive skin. I have shirts that I've worn out that still retain most of their color. I like these Tommy Bahama silk shirts because they're a heavy weight silk that works well in the Pacific Northwest. Silk is an excellent insulator. I can throw them in the washing machine and put them on right out of the dryer. Questions? Leave a comment below!
