rosenoel16 @sylholt The waist measures about 30" around. However, the back waistband is elasticized and has quite a bit of easy give to it. I copied the Tinseltown "shorts" size chart and added it to the listing. You can see from this that it indicates an XL should fit a waist of 34 1/2 to 36". I think that may be a little optimistic, but it definitely has 2-3" of stretch available to it. Tinseltown is more of a "juniors" brand as opposed to a women's brand (con't.)

rosenoel16 @sylholt (con't.) which is why I decided to sell this particular piece; I felt like it was a little too young a style for me to pull off (which, off course, I should have figured out before I bought it, but some times it is hard to face the facts ;)
