Tommy Hilfiger Men's classic cotton pique, striped short sleeve polo/golf shirt

This is a classic Hilfiger pique polo, with an old school stripe in navy red, hunter and white. The "TH" letter crest patch is on the left chest (which honestly looks better in person because in the photos it looks like an odd dark square.) This is a fabulous preppy piece that I purchased for my son just after he turned 14yo. Then he grew overnight (ok so it wasn't literally overnight, but close) and never got a chance to wear it. It has been hanging in his closet over 2 years (along with quite a few other items I bought right before that epic growth spurt.) He is 16yo now and wears a men's size L (=ʘᆽʘ=) which is too bad for me because I am crazy about this shirt - probably it's the hardcore old school aesthetic. The attached tag says "fall basics" but I see "early Spring" when I look at it. I'm sure it can be both, right?
