Straps are joined to each other at the mid-point. Sandals fasten with a strap running around the ankle and going through a gold toned buckle. Wedge heel. Platform measures 1" approx and total heel height is 4.5". Leather upper, all other areas synthetic These sandals are pre-owned, but in very good condition. There is some discoloration to the heel area of the left wedge and a little bit of scuffing, but this isn't signifcant and doesn't affect wear. Aside from this , no other flaws observed.
