Up for sale is a common sunstar or sunflower starfish. These can grow up to a meter in length, making them one of the largest starfish species in the world. They are onnivores and scavengers, and will hunt smaller starfish and sunstars, eating them whole. They will also eat sea urchins, clams snails, and other small invertebrates. These unique and beautiful seastars would make a great accent piece, are great for crafts, a teaching tool, or for a cabinet of curiosities. *Pictures are for illustration only.* **Please note these have a very fishy smell. According to Google, you can remove or decrease their odor by soaking them in a mixture of water and baking soda, water and 70% alcohol or water and bleach. Soak for 24-48 hrs then let dry in the sun. - Not sure if this actually works; have not personally attempted but would be worth a try...hopefully this helps.
