This stunning resin collectible is called War Pony. It's style #1452 of the Trail of Painted Ponies Collection This horse was added to the collection in 2003 and retired in 2013 This collectible was created by Comanche artist Rance Hood, one of the most recognized names in Southwest Art The detail on this pony is fabulous He is white with black spots His face has a light blue tinge He has real feathers hanging from a spear There are also feathers hanging from below a war shield Another feather hangs from his tail There is a thin orange rope reign The saddle looks life a buffalo pelt He has war markings on his body A bloody hand print is on the back side The pony is standing on a rectangle of sand Also on the sand is a small pile of stones & a cattle skeleton head Height 6" Length 7" Width 2 1/2" On the bottom it says THE TRAIL OF THE PAINTED PONIES 15E/ 1.214 Item No 1452 War Pony TM and (c) 2003 The Trail of Painted Ponies, Inc WESTLAND GIFTWARE Handcrafted in China Has the original store sticker on it that says Item No. 1452 The stunning piece is in excellent condition.
