The UltraDry™M waterproof membrane keeps you dry in wet conditions. Full grain dark brown leather is a must. The sole has great traction and includes a comfortable steel shank which provides more stable footing and helps support your feet and calves.” These are a dark chocolate brown color and I believe the leather is called an oiled leather-not glossy and forgiving of scuffing. Could use a little love and leather conditioner. A little scuffing from wear, some oxidation on metal lace findings and from a cat and dog friendly home (I try my best to remove all hairs but if you’ve ever loved a critter with hair, you’ll know it’s next to impossible to catch them all!)
