It is authentic and stamped. I'm not entirely sure how much real diamonds are worth since I've never sold them so I'm not sure what to charge but since I'm trying to clear out my closet I think I will be low balling. kulpadesigns @crismelz So after posting this ring I did some hardcore research on it. The stamps on the band indicate that it's a ring from jewelry designer J.M. Fox in the '40s and '50s. So I won't up the price because I'm fundamentally against going up on people after they express interest, but it's worth a lot more than that. It's a designer vintage. And it is white gold, not silver. That is another thing that I discovered. Long story short, I can't go down on price at all unfortunately.

kulpadesigns @crismelz The band does not indicate the carrot total of diamond, I would have to take it in to find that out and I'm not willing to pay to have that done. If I did that I would probably end up just selling it to the jeweler. All I know, I know from the research I did from the stamp on the band. It was an heirloom that was given to me from a great aunt. That's all I've got sadly :-) I wish I could give you more information.
