kitkath71 i have tried to dye a skirt that was not 100% cotton. I had to use Rit for synthetic fabric. It came out ok but the color was not even through out the material. It was just a small piece of clothing which is easier to work with. I also only had to use the skirt one time so I do not know how it would look after washing. Are you planning on using the dress more than one time after dying it?
