These are such an amazing find. True vintage late 70s or early 80s I’m guessing by style/fit. Wildly, there is STRETCH to these, feel is similar to madewell 1% stretch denim or Japanese denim. Leg is more of a straight fit, but tapered high rise waist gives these a classic feminine look.
SEE MEASUREMENTS. I’ve outgrown almost all my jeans and like my bigger booty.
Waist measures approx 25 stretched, ideal if you are a curvier petite (smaller waist to butt ratio). I wore around a 25 in most modern sized jeans (such as modern Levi’s) when these fit best, though my waist measured closer to 26. See photo of me from a few years ago (5’1, approx 100-105lb)
Small stain on right leg & a little bit of “picked” fabric on the inner left leg. I circled these areas in one pic. If you look closely or zoom in, you barely see those areas in other pics.
I assume many years ago, these were altered to short length, but not by me & it’s not apparent since edge has “natural wrinkle” intact. No inside tag except what’s shown.
Lots of life left in these.
I don’t dry my clothes. Smoke free home and I use hypoallergenic, scent free cleaners
Screens/lighting may alter color. I find that between indoor and outdoor photos, color is usually somewhere in the middle unless otherwise described.

I wore these (white tag Levi's) in high school - they were very popular in 1980-81.

@rueholland56 love that you commented about that! It’s so neat to hear someone with a connection to these gems. They’re really special. They were a fav, they just don’t fit anymore. I wish I could find another! Thanks for confirming my vintage date approximation as well.

@penscore I have a pair that I am planning on listing soon. I am a size 10 now and these feel like they might be a size 8ish. I can get them on but not able to zip. They are also a couple of inches too long for me (I'm 5'4").

@rueholland56 I’m 5’1 lol. I loved these bc they were altered before I got them (but don’t look that way at all). I’m probably a modern 4 now but these would be like a modern 0.
