Turquoise belt fabulous workmanship

Extraordinary raw turquoise (and silver combination)belt for sale… Here’s the story behind this belt/hatband. Back in the late fifties and or sixties a certain gentleman and his family traveled throughout the southwestern selling jewelry and handmade wares for arts and craft fairs .. eventually he acquired several turquoise pieces since he traded directly from many Native Artists. There is no signature on this piece but I have no doubt it is authentic Native American piece of history. I do not know if it is sterling silver, Not exactly sure what metal was used, he most likely used whatever he had on hand and there are no markings .. but this artist was obviously talented and proud of his work using whatever materials he had to work with, much like when trampart started .. there is so much benchwork .. the hand twisted /soldered connections of wire work.. the soldered formed wire work .. the raw turquoise is authentic .. I don’t know who the this artist was but he must’ve dedicated hours of work creating this special piece. Length is 31.5”
