beezo79 Hello... How old is this necklace, and are the stones genuine turquoise? Very cool piece.

beezo79 Also, does it slip over your head? Is the back of the necklace knotted, or is there a clasp? Thanks!

jodyfaron @beezo79 Hi! Thanks for your interest in this piece! It is an old piece, although I don't know the year it was crafted. I do know I purchased it in 1972 when I went to Socorro, New Mexico to attend college. So, it's at least that old! The stones are all genuine. The necklace does slip over one's head. The stones are strung on a very heavy twine. The beads are NOT knotted in between. Hope I addressed all your questions.

beezo79 @jodyfaron, thanks for the info! Looking forward to receiving the necklaces, I've been collecting Native American jewelry for a long time too. Really like the vintage pieces, and you certainly have some nice ones on offer.

jodyfaron @beezo79 Thanks so much. I, too, have been collecting a long time. I recently took the belt buckle off the market cuz I can't part with it. I'm hoping to turn these buckeroos into diamonds for our upcoming 50th wedding anniversary! Thanks for your kind words.
