Two Vintage 6 1/4 Momme Rayon Silk Floral Scarves Made in Japan Momme [mom-ee] is a Japanese word used as a unit of weight measurement for real silk WPL 12859 I got these identical scarves (only the colors differ) from the same estate The ivory one has labels, the pink one does not Some flowers look hand-painted though I don’t think they are Very dainty and delicate, like the scarf version of a floral hankie 31” x 30.5” 77% rayon, 23% silk Hand rolled Made in Japan Very good preowned vintage condition (see ivory scarf detail for flaws) Smoke-free SCARF 1: Pale pink background with delicate pink, green & yellow rosebuds dancing along the outer edge. Each corner has a bouquet of pink, red & white carnations, blue forget-me-nots, and others.
