Two vintage damascene brooches

Two damascene brooches. The larger has a trombone slide clasp. The smaller has a regular clasp. Excellent condition. Beautiful damascene of birds and flowers. See all pics. 13 Trombone clasps were widely used on pieces made through the 1940s, and more sporadically after that time. Even some brooches made in the 1960s, '70s, and '80s, including a number by Chanel, used this type of clasp.
