The sleeves can be worn off the shoulder or pulled over the shoulder. I wore this dress once, for one night to a wedding, and I wore it over my shoulder. I didn’t have any problems with the sleeves falling down. The material is thick and sturdy enough to also be worn off the shoulder and not have problems with the dress falling out of place. 51% rayon, 43% cotton, 6% spandex This dress is really perfect for any occasion, dress it up for a wedding, or wear it casually to lunch.
