US NAVY Male Officer/Enlisted Dinner Dress Blue Jacket (DDBJ) is a long-sleeved, single-breasted mess jacket featuring narrow semi-peaked lapels with the back tapering to a point. Three 35-ligne Navy eagle buttons are on each side of the front panel, and two 28-ligne Navy eagle buttons joined with a linked chain are used for front closure. The only differences between the Officer and Enlisted versions are how rank (Officers) and rate and rating (Enlisted) are displayed—sleeve stripes and corps device for the former, rating badge and service stripes for the latter—and the color of the buttons (gold for Officers/CPOs, silver for Junior Enlisted).
