I am guessing she probably did look on the website and saw all of the differences between her boots and how they should look, and then deleted it but was still mad about potentially losing money from the sale. It just seems unfair to potential buyers to unknowingly pay $90-$100 or whatever it was for a pair of knockoff boots

shannahh @mrsmurr Hmm so the ones by ChaseM are tricky 🧐. That sole is definitely indicative of the old style. The inside tag also looks like the old style. The fur and overall boot shape seem okay too! The one thing I wonder about is the back heel tag thing... I am not as familiar with how the old authentic boot heel labels are supposed to look. It looks kind of odd with the background & letter spacing, but maybe that’s how UGG actually used to do them???

shannahh @mrsmurr Okay so the ones by the Sac5.. person do not seem authentic. They were looking okay-ish up until that back heel label pic. That thing just looks super fake! It is an odd size and thick rectangle shape, plus the lettering and logo do not look right. And the overall label seems to be like chopped off and not even. I’d have to go with knockoffs for those. What do you think?

shannahh @mrsmurr Yep, the more I look at the ones by the Sac seller, the more they look like knockoffs. That label is just really off-kilter, and the shape of the toe looks oddly round. That and the fur looking too shiny and fake like you mentioned. Probably a good idea to warm people!

shannahh @mrsmurr The tall white/cream ones? Yes I would say fake as well! The foot slope and shape look strange, as well as the binding is wonky and misshapen. Also the imprint on the sole is not spaced correctly (way too wide at the top and heel)

shannahh @mrsmurr The treadlite sole is on the newest boots... the little writing goes along with their redesigned sole imprint 😊 That Alie seller definitely looks suspicious. She has a black pair of Bailey Bow Triplet boots that seem legit, but there is only 1 real-life photo that she added (which could be taken from anywhere). I did not think that boot came in all of those different colors though! Also I wonder about the legitimacy of the cardi boots, because those also get faked as well 🧐

We need to do a post for, if I guy is selling Uggs they’re probably fake. Multiple pairs and half sizes are/is a bunch of fake boots. The guy that had the two kids and 1 adult boots never said anything after we questioned his stuff but they’re still up😬

They almost look like children’s size boots to me. They appear super short and the toe portion especially just seems really small/short

I commented upon the original listing as well as the backup info one that the seller posted! It is clear from those photos that the quality is there and they are not replicas. I hate that people now think boots are fakes just because they say “Australia” on the back heel tag and not just UGG. 😬🙈

shannahh @mdavidson29 Yes, @mrsmurr is correct. Those Jumbo UGGs are their own thing. Completely different brand and company from the Uggs that we are accustomed to here in the US that are most frequently made in China and through the Deckers UGG company. “UGG” is just a generic term for that style of boot in Australia 😊. And those Jumbo boots are actually made in Australia, which is cool!

shannahh @mdavidson29 The thing to be most wary of are new looking knockoffs of the kind of UGG boots we are familiar with here that have “made in Australia” inside tags. That would be VERY suspicious! These sort of Deckers Corp UGGs have been made primarily in China or Vietnam, as well as other countries for years now.
