blankcanvaspm @abossmann I’ve not seen that to my recall, though I own some that’s similar. I love JH’s pieces. I’m trying to get a documentary off the ground because I think she was genius in the way all of the jewelry came about. I don’t want it lost to history.

fgetmenot @blankcanvaspm have you spoken to Judith about this?

blankcanvaspm
blankcanvaspm @fgetmenot I’ve been getting my producer involved so I have a strong pitch. I am a screenwriter, but this would be my first go totally producing & directing a documentary. I’ve written about 1000 emails I’ve not sent. Still, it’s in the works. I really hope she’s willing as I don’t want her contributions lost to history.

abossmann @blankcanvaspm @fgetmenot I'm sure she would totally be willing and respond. Afterall, because of @eastlake55's recommendation to look her up on Facebook, I was able to get this verified by Judith herself. She was gracious and humble enough to reply via Facebook messenger! Plus she said to contact her if there were any more questions. Very sweet. What a lady!

blankcanvaspm @abossmann if understand if she wasn’t, but I do so hope she is. Even if she would do a short vs. a full length feature, I’d be over the moon. She’s done some beautiful work for charity as well. She seems like a lovely woman.

blankcanvaspm @abossmann I have a choker (it’s similar to the all pink one with the dangling ‘berries’ that’s posted on here) that’s my all-time fave necklace. I’m almost afraid to wear it anymore because if anything happened to it, it’s become irreplaceable. I love that there are other JH fans here. Her jewelry is the coolest.

abossmann @blankcanvaspm So what are you waiting for? Officially contact her! Don't do all the work before asking the star of the show to be involved! Don't be afraid. I'm sure things will all work out in your favor. ☺️

nebula_botanica How did you come across this piece? Would love to hear the story!

abossmann @nebula_botanica Of course. It's not very exciting though! My mother-in-law's sister-in-law was helping an elderly lady pack up her things as her son was selling her house and moving her to an assisted living place. The sister-in-law had helped the elderly lady run errands and other things because they were neighbors.

abossmann @nebula_botanica The lady had some totes full of jewelry and gifted some to the sister in law who took a few pieces and gave the rest to mother in law because it just wasn't her thing. I looked in the tote and nearly fell over!

abossmann @nebula_botanica Once I started researching the many pieces I became obsessed and wanted to speak to the elderly woman and hear her whole story because clearly she had traveled the world and collected amazing jewelry along the way. Sadly I learned she had already passed away at that point.

abossmann @pamelasislen Hi! I wasn't home today but I will get it out tomorrow and measure for you and let you know. I'm thinking roughly 3 1/2 inches across the opening but I'll know for sure once I measure.

abossmann @pamelasislen The diameter is approximately 2.5 inches across and 7.85 inches in circumference. Hope this helps!
