Ungaro Champagne Sparkle High Waisted 80s Vintage Pants Italy Vintage Size 10 These pants are a rare find! Seriously, the most stunning pants I’ve ever seen. They are such a beautiful champagne gold. Tailoring to flatter with a fitted waist, high-rise, straight leg, and pleating in all the right places. No material tag. Vintage size 10 (smaller than modern sizing). From the 1980s. I’d say they best fit size small/x-small, 0/2 or 25/26” waist (no stretch). Pictures truly do not do these justice! Trained by his tailor father, Emanuel Ungaro went to Paris to work for a small tailoring firm. He secured a position with Balenciaga and became chief designer of the house. Leaving Balenciaga for a brief stint with Courreges, Ungaro then opened his own couture house. Ungaro was at first known for his crisp space age tailoring which appealed primarily to the young.
