Pictures don't do this gorgeous, UNIQUE dress by Ellie Wilde for MON CHERI justice at all. They don't capture the subtle sparkles or the spider webby texture of this bodycon prom dress in black. This dress is truly for the Gothic Princess to rock her Young Morticia vibe! But make no mistake--this is NOT a costumey dress. It is a quality, beautifully made formal/prom dress that is just the right dress for just the right girl... Made of 100% Polyester, this dress is intricately constructed of several layers. There is a nude lining, followed by a black net layer, then a stiffer netting to give it shape and finally the spider webby looking layer. Sparkles subtly sprinkled throughout. Maybe someone else would describe it as whimsical black fairie with lacey tree branches in the forest at night... You decide--Gothic or Whimsical (tomato/tomato). Illusion black netting at bodice on sides detailed by beading and down the décolletage. Size 4, measures laid flat armpit to armpit is 16", 13" side to side at waist, 16" side to side at hips, top of shoulder to hem in FRONT is 62" in front and with slight train 68" in back. Really excellent condition--better than you'd expect even for gently worn. Won't say perfect--there may be a loose thread on the bodice here or there (not more than one or two) that would benefit from a stitch to anchor. Really there is nothing that you'd notice as is, and nothing loose. Gorgeous gown--won't be another like it.
