Unique Handmade Silk Merino Wool Designer Scarf 83" Christa Louise

Every piece of Christa Louis' scarves is a unique fusion of pure silk and ultra fine merino wool. Original design, was meticulously hand crafted by village women in Mexico who were taught the fine art of nuno felting. Nuno, or fabric felting is an art of fusion. The process is all natural, incorporating soap, water and a specific hand technique. Because this is a wet process, the pieces can be hand washed in cold water with a delicate cleanser, line dried and ironed as necessary. The beauty of nuno felting is its weightlessness. Because a light layering of wool is applied, the result is airy and immanently wearable, while still retaining significant warmth.  Beautiful combination of sandlike color and off white. Two tiny punch holes are on the silk. See picture. Hardly visible. It's about 83"x14.5", weighs about 3 oz. Fast handling time.
