Unique S Marco Vintage Italian Bird Tile Trivet or Hotplate. Framed in Wood 1978

Mid-Century Modern terra cotta tile/trivet. Made in Italy, Ceramica, S Marco, P 79. This terra cotta tile/trivet has a wood frame and can be hung on the wall, displayed on a plate stand or used in the kitchen as a spoon/utensil rest or a hot pad to set hot pans on. Think moodier hues like burnt sage, orange, and rust for a decidedly mid century modern kitchen but...this would look great anywhere! This 1970s terra cotta tile is in great condition. The wooden frame shows very little wear. This was gently used or used as a decor item.. There are no chips, no cracks, no repairs. The colors remain bright. Measuring approximately 6 3/4" inches by 6 3/4" inches square. Please refer to the pictures as they are part of the description and show condition.
