Unique Southwestern Cufflinks, Bird Design, Rose Gold Accented

Unusual vintage alpaca (Faux Silver) silver tone rose gold accented costume cufflink set from Central America. These southwestern style cufflinks feature a raised bird form in a rose gold gilding and trim with a recessed silvered textured background. They really need a cleaning and I am just not sure how to properly polish these out. Bullet backed toggle, solid post with the head on these measuring 29mm x 23mm approximate.
