This box appears to be wood that is covered with a hammered/embossed goldtone metal that feels like a thick foil. Inside is a single compartment lined with black velvet. This chest stands on 4 little feet - flip clasp in front - tagged on the base "Made in India". In excellent condition and so pretty!
