Unique Vintage Ring

This lovely vintage ring was purchased at an antique shop and was sold as a perfume ring. Apparently people would add solid perfume to the hollowed out inside part of keep a piece of cloth in it that was doused in perfume. Super neat piece of history. It’s stamped “sterling” and something else that I cannot read, but the color is more like rose gold so I don’t know the actual material. The inside looks discolored or tarnished? Not sure on the size. My fingers are small—this is pretty loose on my middle finger if I had to guess maybe a 7? Possibly larger.
