@missmegod it's a true wrap dress, so that's not really something I can measure. The measurement from the top of the skirt where the top attaches to the bottom laying flat is 41 1/2 inches, so for it to overlap and cover unmentionables, your natural waist size would need to be smaller than that. I'm a size medium/large and I could make it work for me with more overlap but since it's a wrap dress it could easily fit the XL size it's labeled for.
