Hey everybody, I'm Brooke! π

I used to use Posh in 2013 to make a little money in college. Married in 2015, used it occasionally & had our first baby 2020 & another June 2022 which means by body is SO different. Nothing fits. So I'm back!!
I used to work a lot of retail & shopped a lot so my loss is your gain!

hi @meliabonce! thank you so much! :) <3 I joined posh I think in either July, or August--I think early August. so I am fairly new as well, but LOVE it!
1. Regarding trades or doing transactions through other means such as paypal, I stay away from them completely. I think if you're using Poshmark to get your items out there, you should use it directly for transactions.
2. Regarding shipping, it's pretty self-explanatory, the only issue is that there are additional fees when packages are over 2 lbs. As a seller, you should be aware of this--I tend to raise the price of the order if there are going to be additional shipping fees. As a buyer, you won't have to worry as much about this, but definitely be understanding if the seller needs to raise the price for this reason. (I hope that all made sense--if you have a specific question later, feel free to ask or even email Poshmark! they respond quite promptly. :) )
3. Suggestions for Poshmark, in general, off the top of my head:
1. Try to be courteous and respectful to other people, even when they are not to you.
2. It's okay to decline low-ball offers, trades, etc. Those are rude in the first place :) (just do so nicely)
3. BUNDLE! Shipping is $7, but $5 when an order costs $25 or more--so use this to your advantage as a buyer and seller!
4. Remember and respect that Poshmark gets 20% commission of all purchases. It is a convenient, fun service--and we need to respect their rules/processes.
