Pendant designed by Van Cleef Arpels. A classic iconic pendant, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Van Cleef Arpels, back in the 1970's. This large pendant is very rare and unusual because his size and has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and is embellished with carvings of black onyx and a pavé of diamonds. Fitted on top with a movable oval ring to wear in a chain. Diamonds: Mount in a French pavé settings, with 49 round brilliant cut diamonds, 1.96 carats, white colorless E color, VS-1 clarity. Gemstones: Mount with 2 fancy curved cabochon cuts carved from natural black onyx. Birthstone: Onyx for the month of July. Weight: 13.20 Grams, (8.46 Dwt). Measurements: 40 mm by 30 mm (1.57 x 1.18 Inches). Hallmarks Stamped with French marks; the maker's mark Ste. M, the head of the eagle mark for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold and signed in full, "VAN CLEEF ARPELS.750 MADE IN FRANCE NY16V654-5".
