World Gallery Patricia Loveless Little Dancer Of The Orient "Empress." This is a magnificent doll and is part of the World Gallery of Dolls & Collectibles. There are only 3 dolls in this collection which feature exotic dancers of the Orient. The three dolls in this collection include the Royal Dancer, the Empress, and the Little Dancer. BIG 28-29" Porcelain Doll Limited Edition. She stands approx. 28" inches tall (from feet to top of head - not including elaborate detailed headdress) and is wearing a luxurious white kimono with beautiful gold trim. She is also wearing a gilded golden robe in the traditional Chinese costume ornated with silk roses. She is absolutely breathtaking! Box/Packaging is in very good condition and has minor handling/shelf-wear around the corners and edges. Lovely porcelain doll nicely detailed beaded dress and head dress. She comes in original box with all paperwork. Includes Certificate of Authenticity and Document indicating that this doll was picked for the "Artist Signature Series." Artist signature is on her belly. (I did not check so I cannot verify). She is inscribed with the edition number and the artist’s personal signature mark in 18k gold on the back of her neck. 0449 of 1000 dolls. The box has normal shelf wear. She comes with a display wood stand which has two little marks where her feet stood.
