I wore these for years as a yacht broker in all sorts of horrible conditions. They still look lightly used. The only change is that the leather is much darker than it was originally, otherwise very little sign of use. I'd keep them if I was still sailing in rough conditions, but I live in the mountains now & am a fair weather, sunny sailor now. These are definitely for the serious boater.
