This elegant demi-couture cocktail dress from Vicky Tiel Couture has the exceptional flair that you’d expect from the woman who designed the famous red gown from Pretty Woman. The bodice has a sweetheart neckline and a dropped waist. Tiel's signature stretchy mesh fabric is densely ruched and embellished with black satin ribbon that crisscrosses the bodice and ties in back; the skirt and sleeves are the same semi-sheer mesh fabric. There is flexible boning in the bodice to keep everything put, and the dress closes with a long back zipper. The dress will look more fitted (and the ribbons will not be droopy) when the dress is worn by someone in the intended size range (12-14, L-XL). Size and fabric labels are difficult to read, but Tiel’s mesh fabric is well known to be a nylon and rayon blend. The bodice and skirt are lined in black fabrics. Currently, Vicky Tiel Couture is available only by special order from Bergdorf Goodman, which was the source of this dress. Based on the measurements, the size appears to be in the 12-14 range. MEASUREMENTS - Chest is 38" - Waist is 32" - Hips measure about 42" - Length is 31" down center back. CONDITION Excellent unworn condition with no apparent flaws. Splotches in the fabric on the arms are caused by photographic lighting.
