VINTAGE 1930-1940 LUCIEN LELONG STERLING SILVER COMPACT MIRROR & MAKEUP

VINTAGE LUCIEN LE LONG ART DECO COMPACT (THE BLACK ENAMELING WORE OFF), but this is a class act, classic compact from a foremost designer, which reflects the very best in the Art Deco Movement of the '30s and '40s. The inside of the compact is divided into two compartments, with lides - one for the powder and one for the rouge. The rouge is still intact - (there is no longer any powder puff). The round mirror is set on the top within a square frame. The compact measures 2 3/4 inches in length by the same amount in width. It is marked LUCIEN LELONG along the ribbed frame that holds the mirror in place. This compact shows signs of use and of wear - but it does not detract from the beauty of the piece. The interior of the compact is in Excellent Condition
