VINTAGE 1950'S HAND PAINTED WALL PLATES IMPORTED FROM ITALY

These vintage hand painted wall plates from Italy were imported by Edward P. Paul & Company (EPP&CO), a company established in 1898 in Brooklyn, NY. They imported ceramics and glass mainly from Italy and Japan. These two plates featuring roosters and chickens have holes for attaching wire to hang them as wall decor. They measure 12" in diameter and are done in a raised design. One paint chip is shown in the last photo, easily filled in, as it is only a surface defect.
