zzzzzz111111 Afternoon, This is a super nice vintage handbag. It's actually a style from a period of early to mid-60s. Also, just as the interior is made of vinyl, the body (exterior shell) is patent vinyl and not patent leather - they're two different materials. I hope this info is useful. John
