This is a true work horse from Carravelle, a Bulova subsidiary. The 17 Jewel mechanical start up on first wind. Her seconds hand is methodical as it sweeps minute after countless minute! Again, the wisdom in triple silver toning, to awaken the ease of time telling. Yes, there are signs of the 52 years that this timepiece has been passed down to this day. But I’d be willing to say that she has another 152 years of daily use to go!! Because of her age, id say she could use a new crystal at some point for the look of full restoration. An internal cleaning and lube. And then a quick buff. And then this cushion case can glisten through any time span. It all starts with finding a new home! How about yours?
