VINTAGE 1980s Majorica / Mallorca 16” Pearl Necklace

Majorica knotted pearl necklace with gold hook clasp from the 1980s. This 16” necklace has lustrous white Majorica pearls that have a beautiful rose hue. Please review photographs for condition and measurements. There is no apparent wear on the pearls and they are fastened by a strong gold hook clasp which is stamped 14/20. The pearls are evenly knotted but the strand would benefit from a polish after not being worn for 30 years. There is some wear on the gold hook clasp and the original Majorica paperwork has been misplaced. This necklace is beautiful, had one owner and has not yellowed with age as natural pearls do.
