VINTAGE 20s 30's Art-Deco Black and Silver Crepe Dress with Bishop Sleeves VFG

This is an exquisite vintage late 1920's to early 1930's "little black dress". It is made of a black rayon crepe with metallic silver trim along the collar. It features an art-deco collared V neckline and black on black decorative stitching at the waist, hemline and sleeves. It has the most fantastic, extra-long bishop sleeves with fitted 2 button cuffs, and an attached belt with a center bow and snap closure. This dress slips over your head and does not have a zipper! It is reminiscent of the original little black dress introduced by Coco Chanel in the May 1926 Vogue. It is in a wonderful, hard to find, very wearable size! • No labeled size - No stretch, it is meant to fit slightly loose, please use measurements for an accurate fit. • Measures: up to 41" bust, up to 37" waist, up to 46" hips, 47" long shoulder to hemline, 26 1/2" long sleeves • Very Good Wearable Condition, excellent seam and fabric integrity with minor flaws: there are a few small holes in the fabric, it has some reinforced stiches under the arm, and the hemline has been let out- the original seam crease is in place but needs to be restitched- I have left that down so the new owner can customize the length to their frame. I tried to photograph each flaw, so be sure to view all photos.
