VINTAGE 70s Flower Power Maxi Skirt and Balloon Sleeve Blouse Set Handmade

Absolutely iconic vintage late 60s to early 70s 2-piece skirt and blouse set. I believe this set is handmade, and it is very well made and finished. The inside of the waistband has the "Thompson of California Inc." insignia, which indicates that this set was made from beautiful mid-century fabric by Thompson of California. It features a white background with a bold yellow, orange and green abstract floral print. It feels like a very soft polyester, but it could also be a blend, it has a very nice feel! The skirt has a flat fitted waist band with a long maxi sweep. It has a double hook and eye waist closure- these can be moved in either direction very easily to make the waist a bit larger or smaller as needed. The matching blouse has an elastic off-the shoulder neckline, fitted feminine cut and the most incredible balloon sleeves with elastic cuffs. It is a truly great set; it will make a wonderful addition to any eclectic vintage wardrobe! • No labeled size - Please use measurements for an accurate fit. • Top measures: 36" bust, 33" waist, 22" long shoulder to hem, 16" long sleeves from under the arm to the cuff • Skirt measures: 26" waist (as the hooks are sewn now, they can be moved in or out about 2"- see photo), 54" hips, 36 1/2" long • Excellent condition, freshly cleaned • Vintage clothing is not new and has been pre-owned, each item is carefully inspected for any issues, flaws are noted and pictured, but please understand these pieces have been worn before.
