VINTAGE CORDAY, Beautifully Carved CAMEO, Solid Perfume Pendant/Locket/Necklace

This is an authentic, RARE, vintage, CORDAY, gold toned, perfume holding, cameo/locket/necklace/pendant. It is in great condition. The image on the front reveals a intricately carved, romantic lady, with long flowing hair. She's playing an instrument, possibly a lute or mandolin, with her delicate fingers. She was placed on a salmon colored background. The back is engraved with an image of another woman and some cherubs. The heavy brass locket measures appx. 2" tall & appx. 1 1/2 inches wide. The chain is 38" long. Half of the spring loaded locket contains a good amount of the original "solid", fragrant, perfume substance, which is a rare find. The other half is suitable for a photo. The beautifully carved locket opens from the top. It weighs 2.6 ounces with the chain and 2 ounces without the chain. The Gold toned chain is an unusual double link chain with a secure spring clasp (See photo). The name CORDAY is visible on the inside of the pendant's lid when opened (See photo).
