VINTAGE CULVER VALENCIA MCM 22K GOLD DECANTER SET WITH 4 WINE GLASSES

This is a wonderful Mid-Century Glass Culver Valencia 22K Gold Decanter with 4 Wine Glasses ca. 1960's. Culver's Valencia design was its most popular pattern, and it is easy to see why with this hard-to-find Barware set. Reminiscent of Morocco, the design is a three-dimensional textured 22K gold filigree band with a hint of green peeking through the gold. A raised, watery green glass diamond is set in each opening in the intricate pattern. The hand-applied gold pattern forms a 3-1/4 inch band around the base of the decanter, and a narrow 5/8-inch band around the rim of each goblet. The decanter is also gilded at the top of the neck. Each goblet is 5-3/4 inches tall, with the bowl of each goblet 2-3/4 inches deep and 2-1/2 inches in diameter. The foot is 2-5/8 inches in diameter. The decanter is 9-1/4 inches tall, 10 inches with the stopper. It is 4-1/2 inches in diameter at its widest, and the base is about 4 inches deep.
